Red is a tableau series exploring the physiological misperceptions of “knowing someone”. Appropriating the eerie undertone of a childhood fable, the figure’s intentions and innocence becomes questioned. Through a strong use of color and isolation the first impression is no longer valid, creating a nightmare of the ambiguous unknown.
